Dynetek manufactured advanced lightweight fuel storage systems for compressed natural gas (CNG) for low-emission CNG vehicles and compressed hydrogen for zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The Dynetek advanced fuel storage system was designed with a proprietary, seamless, thin-wall aluminum liner and a full carbon fibre overwrap. The company was an industry leader in high-pressure fuel storage and had key relationships with major OEMs in the transportation industry, including Ford, DaimlerChrysler and Nissan.
The StoneBridge group became involved in Dynetek in February 2000 with a mandate to prepare, direct and assist the company with several key business issues including senior management recruitment, the company’s $7.65 Million private placement with strategic and institutional investors which was completed in August 2000 and the company’s $40 Million initial public offering and public listing on the TSE in September 2000. The company experienced significant change and evolution.
Michael Lang served as a Director of the corporation and was a member of the audit and compensation committees until 2007. Gary Lang was the lead from the StoneBridge group working with management until 2004.
