Garneau Inc. was a market leading oil and gas service company located in Nisku, Alberta. The company’s primary business was the application of high-performance protective coatings and linings for oil and gas pipeline protection. In addition, the company designed and fabricated pipeline equipment for both domestic and international markets.
Garneau was the StoneBridge group’s first investment in April 1997. We worked closely with management to develop and execute their major expansion plans including the construction of a major new pipe coating facility in Camrose, Alberta. In addition, we directed the company’s major financings including their IPO in December 1997 detailed below.
Michael Lang served as a Director of the corporation and a member of the audit and compensation committees. Rod Maxwell and Gary Lang were the leads from the Stonebridge group working with management.
